| LADYBUG, APPALOOSA MARE |
|
|
| SHOWN AT AGE 21 |
Before we place the photos of some of the more unusual beings who shared our lives, I want to tell you the story of this special
lady.
LadyBug was the lone survivor from that cruel event, which had left her pastures mates all victims of cold-blooded murder.
LadyBug lived out the remaining years of her life
in the company of kinder humans. This easy going mare was a participant in a program where horse-back riding was a new form
of physical therapy for persons with disabilities.

| TALENT AS SHE SPREADS THE DIGITS OF HER FEET. HER ADULT COMPANION SEEMS TO BE CONCERNED, |
14 week old teeny Chihuahua puppy (1 lb 8 oz), WhisperLily, gives us a good look at a rather unique ability she possesses.
Note the joint articulation and position of the paws as she is shown here standing on her hind feet and reaching out with
the fore paws in an almost cat like physical demonstration. That qualifies as exotic in my book. This little dog is showing
a propensity to manipulate things by moving individual toes to achieve her goals. Exotic for sure, maybe weird is another
appropriate adjective. Stay tuned; we are going to monitor this fascinating ability.
More to come...
